January – I started the new year with a yoga lesson at 8am on January 1th on a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. The instructor had a mean hang-over while I felt superfresh after a long nights sleep. After a week in New York and another week in Aspen I was dead tired on New Year’s Eve and went to bed around 00.15am. Spent another week on the boat ship and then some days in Miami before heading home to cold-cold-cold Norway and school. I attended jp donleavy Costume awards , and various other festivities and discovered the reading halls at the university.
February – The month started with a trip to Stockholm and Fashion Week. I saw just about every show I could squeeze in, partied like a G6 and got sick by the time I got home to Oslo and Oslo Fashion Week. Partied quite alot this month, especially with the guys at Diesel who scored high on my charts with free alcohol, popcorn machines and cotton candy.
March – Went to the premiere of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland and the afterparty filled with bunnies and body paint , I was featured in the local newspaper in Kristiansand, became jp donleavy a Fretex groupie, bought two of my favorite items in my wardrobe (the high-waist shorts and the acne dress ), watched Alfie too many times and bought my first 5preview t-shirt while in Denmark with the family. jp donleavy
April – With April came warmer weather, sun and the PR week. Nice people, loads of clothes to look-touch-and-try, sushi and champagne and everything else you can ask for. Still haven’t gotten over the newbie-magic of the press weeks. I celebrated my 21 birthday in Oslo and Copenhagen , visited Legoland for nostalgic reasons, made delicious buns with cream , played around outside and counted the days till the summer holiday.
May – 17th of May celebrations, exams (loads of them) and a tattoo works a quick summary of this month. It unfortunately did not involve that much more, and I was dead tired by the time June came around..
June – in June I finished all of my exams, ate ice cream, listened to a lot of Kaizers Orchestra, became eligible to drive a boat (aka passed the boat license test), followed the World Cup in South Africa, spent time at our summer house in Søgne, drank cold beer and at the end of the month I travelled to Arendal to enjoy long days of music, sun, Kakkmaddafakka and face paint at the Hove Festival .
